We are searching for a Computer Engineer to join our Enterprise Applications Department to configure, implement, integrate, and support the Teamcenter PDM solution for ARL.

What YOU Will Do…


Responsibilities include: Develop an in-depth understanding of product functionality in order to provide solutions for customer needs, assess customer requirements, and translate into technical designs to create functional solutions and workflows within a given product; perform product maintenance from vendor updates/patches; perform necessary system customizations and integrations with other software platforms and environments; assist customers with application testing; participate in rollout activities; manage application user roles/access; provide tier two operational support; and prepare system documentation.


What YOU Need to be Successful…


Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 1. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is desired.


Preferred experience/skills:


• Integrating various COTS software with PDM tool


• SUSE Enterprise Linux (Red Hat), Solaris, and Windows server administration


• Implementation of a PDM system in a production environment, specifically Siemens Teamcenter, NX, and/or Altium


Required experience/skills:


• Oracle PL/SQL; T-SQL; UNIX shell scripting; C/C++; JavaScript; Python; HTML; XML; PLMXML; VMware and management of Virtual Machines; Oracle databases; and Tomcat web application server


• Strong verbal and written communications skills


• Strong interpersonal skills


• The ability to work collaboratively within a group, as well as across departments
