Job DescriptionPerform a variety of administrative tasks in support of the contract program.Analyze customer expectations and contractual requirements to determine financial monitoring and reporting needs.Responsible to work with Task Order Managers and team members to complete financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.Review and analyze financial data from multiple sources.Create, maintain, and update financial databases and spreadsheets, and generate financial reports for program, customer and corporate end users.Assist in the business rules update of current software during contract or task order transitions to ensure that contract requirements have been captured and are being reported correctly.Analyze assigned contracts' projected staff hours against actual hours worked, contract totals, revenues, and profit totals.Support Task Order Managers in managing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting financial data as requested.Prepare Contract Funds Status Report and support Task Order Managers in monthly IPR Financial review with the customer.Make recommendations to program/ task order management and our customer to improve the financial performance of the program.Develop plans, including budgets and schedules, for assigned task orders based on funded and unfunded amounts then track performance to budgets. Report as required to the customer when funding has reached the contractually agreed upon amount.May perform business development activities as needed.Serve as a key member of the of cost proposal team for task orders and contracts.Develop and maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures and Local Work Instructions for all assigned tasks.May have risk identification and recovery responsibilities.Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as DAR, FAR, SOX and other government regulations.Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures that affect corporate or contractual financial functions.Participates in special projects and prepares adhoc reports as required.
2-5 years of related finance or business analysis experience.Must possess and maintain a US TS/SCI Security clearance.Must achieve ITIL Foundation certification within 90 days of hire.Additional certifications may be required, depending on job assignment.Must have effective organizational skills.Must be proficient in MS Office suite and other related software applications.Must have effective oral and written communication skills.The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of materials, boxes or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
