Develops, organizes, and conducts training and educational programs for customer personnel. Active Secret Clearance required. 1. Develops, tests, maintains, and delivers moderately complex training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives. 2. Establishes and reviews course content and objectives. 3. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. 4. Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness. 5. Updates course documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance. 6. May provide work leadership for lower level employees, including evaluating the effectiveness of their training presentations and programs. 7. Conducts research into new training, educational, and multimedia technologies. 8. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. 9. Participates in special projects as required. Education Bachelors Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work/military experience. Qualifications GDIT Requires 5-8 years of directly related experience in the development and delivery of technical training programs.Contract Requires 4 years of directly related experience.Active Secret Clearance required. Unique/Additional Requirements:Battle Staff Trainers area assigned primary Duties and Responsibilities within one of the Specializations listed below with mutual support requirements across all Specializations. 1.Battle Staff Trainer - Individual Training: Develops, organizes, and maintains an Operator Training focused Training Support Package (TSP) for their assigned system(s) of responsibility that encompasses new operator and sustainment training for basic operator, system integration, and senior leader. Utilizes official system Program / Product Manager's training products as the basis of the TSP development and updates the TSP on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance of training material. Monitors student enrollment and updates student attendance and academic reports. Prepares records of training activities, student rosters, participant progress, and program effectiveness. Submit reports in a timely manner to the Individual Training Branch Manager. Monitors student survey and demographic data for completeness and accuracy. 2. Battle Staff Trainer - Collective Training: Develops Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) for the employment of C2 systems. Designs voice and data system architectures for unit staff / team collaboration and information sharing within Tactical Operations Centers (TOC), Command Post (CP) and War-fighter functional area cell systems / applications architectures based on user or system design specifications. Develops training environments that are unique to unit training requirements, completes setup and configuration of systems, conducts testing, troubleshooting and modification of systems as required. Designs comprehensive operational procedures for an integrated federation of C2 systems and simulation / stimulation systems configures battle command system interface nodes, documents end to end connectivity and tactical message flow, maintains the real-time operational status; tests hardware architecture and software for the conduct of staff training employing numerous C2 systems and supporting systems. 3. Battle Staff Trainer - Gaming / Simulations Training: Develops and adapts training materials and documentation to support Gaming and Simulations capabilities. Develops training environments that are unique to unit training requirements, completes setup and configuration of systems, conducts testing, troubleshooting and modification of systems as required. 4.
