1. Provides application development and technical support for customer websites.

 2. Collaborates with graphic artists to develop web page graphics that support interactive, marketing-focused content.

 3. Prepares functional specifications from which programs will be written, and then designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs.

 4. Participates in the technical design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of website enhancements.

 5. Conducts systems tests, monitors test results, and takes appropriate corrective action.

 6. Create and maintain websites using standard web development tools (for each website).

7. Maintain and create new, as needed,  SharePoint web presence to include mapping site structure to ensure ease of use and testing for functionality in different web browsers and at different resolutions.


8.  Follow established timelines, processes and procedures as well as implement improvements to the overall processes for web/SharePoint development to include guidelines, templates, work flows and business efficiencies.


9. Perform Sharepoint administrative functions for the customer SharePoint web presence; functions include: Maintaining logging databases (daily occurrence), assignment of permission levels (average: 1 assignment/week); site backups (average: 1 daily backup per site).


10. Develop web pages in compliance with customer policies (average: 1 web page development/month per site).


11. Update current information on the web pages, incorporate changes as directed and troubleshooting and fixing errors on the website (average: 3 updates/week per site).


12. Respond to emails requesting the web or multimedia support within 24 hours to provide assistance with web development and multimedia (to include graphic development and support) needs (average: 3 email requests/week per site).


13. Provide periodic updates as it relates to the status of assigned SharePoint/web and multimedia tasks (weekly status report).


 14.  Maintain one MySQL back-end database and one Linux web server to maintain the customer web presence.

Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.

Qualifications 2-5 years of related experience in web software development.

 Required Experience:

        Experience that demonstrates skill in Web Technician services; including web page design, engineering, and development.Thorough knowledge of basic Web design principles.Proficiency with Web publishing software and protocols.Familiarity with Internet protocols.Familiarity with relational database management systems.Proficient with: JavaScript, JQuery, and HTML, BootStrap, ColdFusion, PHP, SQL and AJAX.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite 6.Exceptional computer skills and proficiency on PC platforms.Proficiency with at least one markup and scripting language.Proficiency with Cold Fusion.Experience designing and building Web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.Proficient in managing, designing, and developing Microsoft SharePoint technologies.
