The contract provides IT acquisition, installation and support services to a high profile customer in Washington, DC and offices nationwide.  Operations include the acquisition, installation and incident support for enterprise IT workstations, servers, LAN, mobile devices, printers, peripherals and supporting software. Operations also include state office Telecom/Network installation, build-out and support.  


The Supply Chain Manager oversees activities and personnel involved with warehousing and purchasing on the contract to include but not limited to:

    development and implementation of policies and proceduresproactively research, develop, and pursue innovative and new approaches to implement labor saving procedures through office automation and realize cost savings in negotiating volume purchasing agreements with suppliers and manufacturersparticipate in meetings with all levels of management and other personnel within GDIT and the contractresponsible for the complete and accurate monthly report deliverables under the contractresponsible for developing and maintaining high level supplier and manufacturer relationshipsresponsible for maintaining and exceeding SLA levels on the contractdirect supervision of the Warehouse Manager and Acquisition Team for the contractwill play an active role in upcoming recompete activitiesother duties as assigned
  • Bachelors Degree in a related business discipline. 
  • 10-12 years of IT related purchasing experience, including supervisory experience
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from Institute for Supply Management
  • Experience in data management and office automation
  • Experience in purchasing, tracking and shipping commercial off the shelf (COTS) equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must
  • Familiarity with Senate ITSC III contract and customer a plus
