Position Purpose:Job Description Details:

General Summary:

Driver will need to have necessary skills to operate a 15 passenger van in heavy traffic.  They will need to possess excellent people skills and the ability to get along well with passengers.  It is also necessary to be able to read maps, and get from point to point in the Washington/Baltimore Metro Area.  Must be able to do routine checks such as oil and water on all security vehicles.  

Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital. 

Minimum Licensure/Certification Required (if applicable):

Must be a high school graduate or possess a GED

Must have a valid Maryland Drivers license with a good driving record.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Must have clean driving record that demonstrates the ability to operate a vehicle safely and in accordance with the law.

Must be able to read maps and get from point to point.

As applicable for assignment:

  • Must possess and operate a cell phone
  • Must pass the medication security health stream course.
  • Must wear a HCH uniform.
  • Must pass the certification in shipping infectious substances/dangerous goods course within the first 2 days of orientation.
