The successful candidate must have the ability to translate a wide range of documents, and present the findings in a clear, concise written and verbal presentations.  Translations need to respect nuances in technical, intelligence related, and subject matter terminology. 

 

1. All source analyst with social media/IT/open source review component.

 

2. Must possess both written and verbal translation with focus on the use of technical, intelligence related SME terminology.

 

3. Must be a level 3/3 in regards to reading and writing in Mandarin.

 4. Provides analysis and research for national security, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability.

 5. Prepares assessments of current threats and trends based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information.

 6. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operational success.

 7. Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes.

 8. May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff.

 9. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.

 10. Participates in special projects as required.

Education Bachelor's Degree in a related technical or military discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience.

Qualifications 8-10 years of related experience supporting intelligence operations

 

3 level Mandarin Chinese language proficiency

 

Prior all-source analysis experience with national intelligence agencies or the DoD
