Senior MRI Technician
GENERAL SUMMARY Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) diagnostic examinations. Coordinates daily activities and schedules for the MRI service to ensure the effective provision of services. Trains and orients technologists and students to MRI. EDUCATION Associates' degree or one to three years formal training in Radiology Technologyis required PRIOR EXPERIENCE Approximately one to two years of progressively more responsible job related experience functioning as a MRI Technologist. CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION/LICENSURE Registration by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists is required within one year of employment.
