Director of Domestic Grants

The National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), a 501c(4) trade association, is interviewing for a director for its Domestic Grants programs. NARUC is a non-profit organization founded in 1889 whose members include the governmental agencies that are engaged in the regulation of utilities and carriers in the fifty states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. NARUC's member agencies regulate telecommunications, energy, and water utilities.

The director is responsible for identifying, securing, and managing grant-funded programs that meet the educational, training, technical assistance, and research needs of the members of the organization. This position will manage a department of three.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in public policy or a related field. Master's degree in an energy, environmental, regulatory, or project management field is preferred. Must have strong presentation, facilitation, and project management skills. Technical expertise in Critical Infrastructure, Cyber Security, is a plus, as is a background in utility regulation.
