Joint Forces Military Advisor

Key Role:
Advise the general officer or key leader (KL) on all organizational initiatives of a new organization that are planned, developed, and implemented, including organizational interfaces to accomplish client program and system activities for reorganization, capability growth, and flexibility so the organization may be recognized as being on par with other worldwide organizations of similar stature. Advise the KL on the operation of a new organization's development of organizational goals that support initiatives being developed and implemented. Advise the KL on organizational readiness to accomplish assigned missions. Advise the KL on change management principles that enable the organization to achieve mission tasks, as set forth by senior stakeholders. This position does not allow for remote delivery and is located in the Middle East.

Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with mentoring or advising functional, government, or military leaders within the force environment
-Experience with commanding forces above bridge or service equivalent level
-Knowledge of joint military operations, including expertise in a specific service, such as Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps
-Ability to instruct, advise, and counsel in an international military environment

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with leading large-scale transformation efforts, including implementing new strategy, reorganization, and standing up new organizations
-Experience with one or more functional military organization areas, including logistics, C4I, strategies and plans, planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE), intelligence, Cyber, manpower and personnel, or training
-Ability to show basic Arabic proficiency, including writing and speaking
-MA or MS degree in National Strategic and Security Studies or related field
