Network Monitoring- Solarwinds


*         Troubleshooting network connectivity issues across the WAN (50+ remote sites)

*         Utilizing network monitoring application to verify outages and possible causes

*         Creating Outage & Restoral Notifications for information disbursement

*         Updating Tickets within a Remedy environment to track networking issues

*         Tracking Outage Reports for offline sites and devices


Networking- Cisco 2911, Juniper- MX-40, MX-240, MX-480, EX-2200, EX-3200, EX-4200, SRX-550


    Configuring end point to end point transport over VPLS (Black Transport)
*         Resolving Port Security issues on inbound interfaces via Mac Limit and Filter

*         Configuring access and port trunks: (Router on a stick, Point to Point)

*         Troubleshooting multicast issues between remote sites

*         Advertising Static routes per customer need

*         Troubleshooting and configuring VoIP connections at remote sites

Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.








Qualifications 5-8 years of directly related experience in network analysis and administration.


- Must be willing to work shift work (1115-0015 or 2345-1215)

- Must have IAT Level II certifications (Security + CE and either CISCO, JUNIPER, or other operating system certification).
