Supports the E-2D Japan Program Office supporting the Automated Logistics Environment (ALE) Cyber/Situational Awareness (SA)

Desired Experience:

    Windows OS (Win 10 preferred) AdministrationACASSCAPDoD STIGsDoD Cyber Security PoliciesIAVM’s and CTO’sGroup Policy, Secpol, and the RegistryImage management experience (Acronis/Clonezilla)Encryption Methodologies (SEE/Bitlocker)
Necessary trainings (or the ability to get them within 6 months of hire):

    Hold a CompTIA Security+ CE Certification (must be active)Completed Microsoft Certified training course in either Windows 7 or Windows 10
Tasking:

    Troubleshoot Hardware and Software issuesMaintain the build image for the Windows 10 FMS Implement IAVM’s, CTO’s, & Fragord’sRun ACAS scans against the base imageRun SCAP scans against the base imageReview new STIGs and implement updatesCreate Group PoliciesImplement Registry and Secpol changes as neededMaintain a library of system images utilizing Acronis/ClonezillaPrepare and maintain system documentationAttend ALE and related meetingsProvide Help Desk support for fielded systems
 

Additional duties may include manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.

  

1. Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.

 2. Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.

 3. Sets up administrator and service accounts.

 4. Maintains system documentation

 5. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.

 6. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.

 7. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

 8. May program in an administrative language.

 9. Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.

 10. Provides advice and training to end-users.

 

11. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

 12. Participates in special projects as required.

Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Qualifications 5-8 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
