This position is located in the Direct Attack Division, AFLCMC/EBD, whose mission is to develop, produce, and sustain direct attack systems and enterprise-level air armament mission planning capabilities, and integrate existing standard munitions and launch platforms and integrate with C4I capabilities.

These products include the Massive Ordnance Penetrator, BLU-120, Joint Programmable Fuze, Hard Target Void Sensing Fuze, Medium Caliber Ammo and Foreign Military Sales of multiple assets and a number of other US and FMS air-to-ground munitions and supporting systems all in various acquisition phases.

Essential Job Functions:

Technical analysis of electronic fuze controls; electronic and electro-mechanical timers; safe/arm devices; power generators and fuzing units; radar, infrared, electro-optical, and millimeter wave proximity sensors; and fuze system packaging for transportation and storage, for both hard target penetration and blast fragmentation applications.

Provide support to fuze explosive trains and their electro-mechanical and electronic components including primers, initiators/detonators, detonating cords, transfer charges, lead assemblies, and boosters.

Provide analysis of the range of operational environments that fuze systems are subject to, and test techniques utilized to verify system performance.
Requirements Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Active Secret Security Clearance.

Master's degree in electrical engineering plus (15) fifteen years of experience.

Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
