Westat's research, technical, and administrative staff of more than 2,000 is located at our headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, near Washington, DC.Job Summary:Westat is seeking a web application developer with skills in web design and related technologies using the C# language, the ASP.NET development framework, and MS SQL Server. Good JavaScript skills and experience with CSS, jQuery, XML, HTML5, and modern front-end frameworks like ReactJS/AngularJS is beneficial.

Job Responsibilities:

· Developing enhancements and new features for an integrated suite of web applications using C# and JavaScript.· Supporting maintenance and testing, as well as responding to user issues and requests.· Developing new technical approaches and capabilities to incorporate into the system.

Job Requirements:

· A bachelor's degree is required; computer science degree is preferred.· 1 year of software application development and programming experience is required. · Must be US citizen or US permanent resident. Having excellent analytical communications skills, as well as being a self-learner and able to work independently in researching and presenting technical solutions, is highly desirable. Basic SQL skills are preferred.
