    The Office of Attorney Recruitment and Management, U.S. Department of Justice, is seeking an experienced attorney to work in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Chief Counsel, as a general Attorney in its Domestic Criminal Law Policy & Division Counsel Section. This section is located in Arlington, Virginia, provides legal advice and support to DEA management and field offices worldwide.

    This position within the Criminal Law Policy Section provides legal advice and guidance on a broad variety of criminal matters. This position provides counsel on legal issues associated with criminal law policy, criminal discovery obligations, and sentencing issues. Guidance is provided to special agents, diversion investigators and task force officers, including assistance and advice on analogue and synthetic drug cases. Additionally, position responsibilities include preparing and presenting legal training materials for Operations staff, including Financial Operations, as well as staffing DEA Academy's Basic Forensic Chemist legal course and advanced legal training for scientists. The position may provide counsel on other criminal law policy matters, including confidential sources and financial investigations, to include Attorney General Exempt Operations.
