The Institute of International Finance (IIF) is one of the world’s largest global associations of financial institutions with nearly 500 members in 75 countries. We provide economic and financial analysis to our members, develop industry proposals on global regulatory issues, and represent our members in discussions with the public sector on global economic and financial policy issues.
The Institute currently seeks a Program Assistant in the Global Events Department who will provide administrative support to the department including: overseeing and managing the Institute’s registration and invoicing processes for global events; assisting with the creation process for IIF event invitations and communications; generating and disseminating said invitations as well as all attendee related communications; generating detailed post-event attendance analyses; editing and quality control for department documents and all printed materials; providing logistical support as well as marketing and sponsorship aid where needed; updating event and attendee information in the membership database and providing other administrative and logistical support as needed related to the events process.
Applicants should have at least two years of related professional experience and a college degree in a related field. Strong command of the English language and excellent written and oral communication skills as well as editing experience are also required. Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and database software is essential. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite 6 or other graphic design software is also desirable. Personal attributes such as a high degree of professionalism, strong attention to detail, organization, the ability to communicate and act with tact, and the ability to work under tight deadlines and to exercise good judgment under pressure are also required.
