The eLearning Content Coordinator will coordinate and execute the placement of language learning content including text, graphics and other features into learning objects templates.


The content coordinator will work with other team members to produce language learning activities incorporating text, video, and/or audio along with comprehension and assessment activities. The activities aim to build the foreign language skills of a large federal government workforce in reading and comprehension, translation, and transcription. The content coordinator will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of content curators, developers, instructional designers and graphic designers to produce activities drawing from political, cultural, historical and current events topics.


Additional responsibilities include content gathering and building templates for content curators, formatting and editing sound and video files, building quality control checklists, performing quality control and other activities to ensure adherence to requirements.

Education Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.

Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in web content management, preferably eLearning relatedKnowledge of SCORM and course development software such as Captivate, Articulate Studio/Storyline, LectoraFull understanding of eLearning and web application development process Strong organizational skills and ability to estimate timelines for project tasks, manage simultaneous tasks, and meet project deadlines
    Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working on web development projectsExperience designing for multilingual projects and audiences is a plusHTML and CSS coding skills or familiarity a plusAbility to work on cross–functional teamsExperience in sound and video editing tools and multimedia productionExperience with producing 508 compliant materialExperience producing material suitable for desktop and mobile devicesAbility to work in a team environment under tight deadlinesExperience with foreign cultures is a plusUS citizenship is required
