    Specialized experience: For the CN-52, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the CN-51grade level in the Federal service (For qualification purposes, the CN-51 is broadly equivalent to the GS-11). Specialized experience for this position includes:

    • Demonstrated experience developing analytical deliverables (e.g., statistical analyses, reports, dashboards, et cetera) using at least one of the following Business Intelligence tools: Tableau, MicroStrategy, SAP Business Objects, Pentaho BI, IBM Cognos Business Intelligence, or Microsoft Business Intelligence Tools; AND
    • Experience writing structured query language statements with at least one of the following enterprise relational database management systems: PostgreSQL/Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL; AND
    •Demonstrated experience using advanced data architecture and modeling techniques such as data warehousing, operational data stores, data marts, normalized or star schema, and Extract, Transform, and Load processing; AND
    • Ability to work independently, manage conflicting priorities, and communicate both verbally and in writing.

    Specialized experience: For the CN-51, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the CN-40grade level in the Federal service (For qualification purposes, the CN-40 is broadly equivalent to the GS-09). Specialized experience for this position includes:

    • Demonstrated experience developing analytical deliverables (e.g., statistical analyses, reports, dashboards, et cetera) using at least one of the following Business Intelligence tools: Tableau, MicroStrategy, SAP Business Objects, Pentaho BI, IBM Cognos Business Intelligence, or Microsoft Business Intelligence Tools; AND
    • Experience writing structured query language statements with at least one of the following enterprise relational database management systems: PostgreSQL/Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL; AND
    • Ability to work with limited guidance, manage conflicting priorities, and communicate both verbally and in writing.

    You may substitute education for general or specialized experience as follows:

    Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR
    3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR
    LL.M., if related

    Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. You MUST submit a copy of your transcripts or equivalent.

    The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.     DUTIES:

    The following are the duties of this position at the CN-52 (Broadly equivalent to the GS-12). If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

    - Work closely with multiple business units to gather Business Intelligence reporting requirements. Translate complex business requirements into high quality automated reports, dashboards and analyses using various technologies, including SQL, Tableau, SAS, Oracle RightNow, Salesforce, and other Business Intelligence tools.
    - Design, develop, test, tune and execute reports, extracts, and interpretations of data utilizing multiple tools (e.g., Tableau, Oracle RightNow, Salesforce, SAS, and advance Microsoft Excel).
    - Query relevant data from databases such as, PostGresSQL and Microsoft SQL server using complex Structured Query Language (SQL), manipulate large unstructured and structured datasets to build insightful solutions to complex problems, and present the results in visually engaging and intuitive reports and dashboards.
    - Clearly convey the key insights the data reveals in a visual format that is grouped, summarized, and formatted to be easily understood and actionable.
    - Document business and technical reporting methodology, best practices and related rules for generating reports to ensure results accurately represent Consumer Response data and can be replicated by other Analysts.
