The Clinical Liaison collaborates with faculty, college and agency staff to place students in clinical experiences and service learning opportunities and to evaluate learning experiences. The liaison reviews student records to verify compliance with health requirements. The liaison serves as intermediary to clinical agencies to secure student placements, increase the number of clinical placements, track agency issues, requirements and learning opportunities. Maintains clinical agreements and markets the health care programs. Assists with preceptor orientation and builds relationships with preceptors. Conducts and assists with data collection and summary of surveys.
- Bachelor's degree in health related field, required; Nursing, preferred
- A minimum of three years of experience ina health related field
- Nursing or allied health licensure with eligibility to practice in Maryland
- Recent health related experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Orientation to detail for maintenance of records
- Ability to multitask and manage time
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Regular attendance is a requirement of the position
Hours Per Week: 18.75
Work Schedule: Includes flexible daytime hours with occasional evenings or Saturdays.
Compensation: $28.19 per hour
FSLA Status: Exempt
