Performs tasks in general or specialized accounting functions, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Accounting, or General Ledger. 1. Prepares, analyzes, reviews, verifies, and reconciles vouchers, journal entries, accounting classifications, and various other accounting/financial statements, records, and reports. 2. Establishes and maintains accurate, detailed financial records. 3. Analyzes financial reports and records, and makes recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures. 4. Participates in the development of accounting systems, methods, procedures, and controls. 5. Coordinates accounting matters with other departments, locations, and business units. 6. May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced Accounting staff. 7. Maintains current knowledge of relevant accounting regulations, policies, and procedures. 8. Participates in special projects as required. Education Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience. Qualifications 5-8 years of related accounting experience.
