Wounded Warrior Recovery Care Coordinator
This position is in support of the Wounded Warrior Regiment in Quantico, VA as a Recovery Care Coordinator (RCC). The primary role of the RCC is to assist the recovering service member back to full duty or civilian life. Marines that are wounded, ill, or injured while serving their country require care and assistance on the road to recovery. The RCC will coordinate the service member through the continuum of care from recovery to rehabilitation and reintegration. The RCC will assist in the development, generation and updating of individualized recovery plans. Performs complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program. 1. Consults and collaborates with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) . 2. Coordinate access for family members to medical and non-medical care management services including rehabilitation, education, employment-related programs, and disability benefits 3. Develop Comprehensive Recovery Plan (CRP) 4. Identify gaps in non-medical services and intervene to coordinate resources, expedite outcomes, and assist with enhanced delivery of nonmedical services 5. Facilitate rehabilitation and transition back to active duty or to civilian life through coordination with military service coordinators, VA liaisons and other agencies 6. Promote use of local and state resources including federal, state, and local governmental and governmental services and agencies 7. Work collaboratively with community partners 8. Performs a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program. 9. Develops plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program. 10. Establishes and defines program plan requirements and performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans. 11. Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met. 12. Interacts regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements. 13. May perform business development activities. 14. May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced employees. 15. Participates in special projects as required. Education Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience. Contractual Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a social science preferred or a minimum of 5 years' experience associated with helping, supervising, and providing guidance to service members). Qualifications 2-5 years of related experience.
