Job Description: Manages day-to-day activities in Project Management Operations (PMO) to ensure projects meet organizational goals and requirements. Oversees the work of project management staff on enterprise-wide projects approved by the division Executive Team. Works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, develop, and communicate large scale, multi-department projects through implementation. Responsible for planning, tracking, managing, communicating risks and issues as well as overseeing costs for all SMG projects. Provide resources and direction to project managers to meet objectives and service commitments, as well as to ensure appropriate management and customer involvement throughout the life of the project. Develop standard operating procedures and policies to improve consistency, predictability and efficiency of the organizations project delivery capability. Ensure that the operational issues of the PMO are managed, focusing on the project interface with project leaders, project teams, technology and interface issues. PMO projects will consist of, but not be limited to; operational initiatives, construction, workflows, regulatory/maintenance, access improvements, customer service improvements, practice optimization, clinical quality improvements, etc.

Education Level
Bachelor's Level Degree

Required: Healthcare - 1 year, Project Management - 3 years

Preferred: Medical Office - 1 year

Required: Project Managment Professional
