Sentara Pulmonary & Critical Care Specialists is seeking a FT Practice Manager. This position is located at the Heart Hospital.

REQUIRED: Bachelors Degree, 3 years healthcare and 3 years management experience .

Pulmonary and/or sleep experience a plus.

The Practice Manager II partners with clinical leadership in a dyad model to ensure the efficient and effective operations of large, complex or multi-location clinics/practices. Examples of large clinics/practices include those with more than 8 providers and/or more than 20 support staff member. Examples of complex clinics/practices include urgent care centers/clinics/practices with in-house laboratory or radiology services, as well as those with associated hospital-based procedures or services. Provides overall supervision of staff and oversight of all aspects of operations including customer service, budget, risk management and compliance with organizational and ambulatory care policies, regulations and standards of care. Accountable for personally monitoring and engaging team members and other resources to improve financial performance, quality, patient experience, and team member performance.

Clinical experience, and leadership experience in ambulatory care environment preferred. Master's degree preferred. Current Practice Manager I incumbents who do not meet the education requirement for the Practice Manager II position may be considered for promotion to Practice Manager II, provided s/he is willing to execute an education agreement that requires enrollment in a bachelor's level degree program within 12 months and completion of a bachelors level degree within 5 year from his/her start date in the Practice Manager II role.
