Montgomery County Government is searching for a strong Executive Assistant to support a Director in one of the County's largest departments comprised of over 700 staff and growing! This is a highly visible position with heavy responsibilities and interaction with officials, staff and the public. You will serve as a lead in communication; oversee procurement and handle a busy calendar filled with various travel and meetings - some which you will attend. You will also be involved in hiring staff; from composing position descriptions to reviewing resumes to the initial interviews. Bring your supervisory skills to a new level as you monitor performance of staff and provide training while also celebrating promotions, retirements , new hires and retirements. Planning meetings and conferences, coordinating off-site meetings is also an important aspect - so bring your organizational and creative side with you!
- BS in Business management preferred with 4 years of progressive administrative experience
- Excellent writing skills
- Advanced MS Office Suite
- Strong Client Service experience within an office setting
