Job Summary

Westat is seeking an experienced Clinical Data Manager to support data management activities conducted at the Biostatistics and Data Management Core (BDMC of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The successful candidate will work closely with study managers, statisticians, programmers, analysts, clinical staff and investigators. Qualified applicants must have experience across the spectrum of data management activities. This position is located in Philadelphia, PA at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: serving as the primary liaison with principal investigators, clinical site staff and IT staff; supervising and training data management staff; writing data management plans; supervising and participating in case report form design, database definition, database testing, data quality checks, and discrepancy management.

Job Requirements

· A bachelor's degree in a clinical or scientific discipline
· 8 years of data management experience in a pharmaceutical, academic, or CRO environment

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of regulatory requirements for FDA-regulated clinical trials, and experience using Oracle, Oracle Clinical, REDCap, or other data management systems. Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, analytical, project management and multitasking skills are required. Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment with clinical and systems staff is necessary.
