The Health & Civilian Solutions Division of GDIT has an exciting opportunity for a Proposal Manager in Fairfax, VA.  The Proposal Manager will manage the development and revision of major proposals and supervises assigned staff.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    Responsible for the Proposal Development Life-cycle from RFP release to Award Notification guided by the GDIT eBDP
      Pre-Proposal Phase – Tasks include but not limited to the following:
        Build Proposal PlanDevelop Proposal StrategyPrepare Proposal OutlineOutline ReviewCreate Storyboards/Annotated Outline/Content PlanStoryboard/Annotated Outline/Content Plan ReviewFinalize Proposal Team
      Proposal Phase – Tasks include but not limited to the following:
        Update Proposal PlanConduct Kickoff MeetingTrain Proposal TeamTransition/Update StoryboardsConduct and Respond to Pink TeamDevelop Orals/Demo PlanDraft Text, Graphics and PresentationsFinalize Executive SummaryConduct and Respond to Red Team (Lead or Assign)Conduct and Respond to Gold Team (Lead or Assign)Produce ProposalConduct Final QADeliver Proposal
    Maintains working knowledge of the SharePoint Collaboration Tool to include permissions and simultaneous collaborationMaintains all GDIT required Training Is flexible and can support extra hours as needed as required by the position
Education Bachelors Degree in a related business discipline or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.

    8-10 years of related experience managing proposal efforts in a government contracting environment.Strong Written and Verbal Communication SkillsStrong Organizational SkillsAbility to effectively lead teams through the proposal development life-cycleAbility to complete work under tight deadlinesAbility to use the following programs:
      SharePoint 2010 or aboveAdobe AcrobatMS Office Suite – Emphasis on the following programs           Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
