The George Mason University Center for Psychological Services invites applications for an Administrative Assistant position. Responsibilities: This is a part-time wage position, initially starting at 20 hours a week, but could go up to 25 hours per week. General duties include both administrative and customer service aspects of supporting a community mental health center. Specific duties include: * Assist in maintaining smooth flow of client intakes and coordination of assigning clients to therapist and examiners; * Answer phones and assist clients of the center to understand the services the center offers, as well as determine appropriate intake information; * Complete client phone screens; * Assist clients through the financial aid application process; * Coordinate with graduate and undergraduate student staff to ensure high-quality customer service; * General administrative responsibilities within the intake office; * Attend weekly office meetings; * Respond to records requests in a timely manner and ensure that proper protocol is followed; * Submit daily credit reports in coordination with the Office Supervisor; * Assist in compiling Center statistics, as needed; * Maintain meticulous notes in electronic medical records system; and * Support Office Manager and Director of Center for Psychological Services as needed.

Required Qualifications: * B.A. degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; * Excellent customer service skills, and * Willingness to work on a team.

Preferred Qualifications : * Basic computer skills; * Experience using Titanium Software or other electronic medical record is a plus; * Experience with electronic medical records; and * Experience in community mental health.
