Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager/Estimator

Mid-Sized General and Mechanical Contractor is looking for the following position for immediate hire:

  • General Contracting Division - Estimator & Project Manager
  • Mechanical Construction Division - Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities – Estimator (General Contracting)

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
  • Foster customer relationships to attract bid opportunities
  • Review bid proposals and information
  • Effectively determine bid strategies and prepare bids
  • Timely and accurate full cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, subcontracts

Responsibilities – Project & Assistant Project Manager (General Contacting & Mechanical)

  • Manage/Assist all activities throughout project life cycle, including budgets, schedules, purchasing, subcontracts, startup, meetings, paperwork, reporting, invoicing, forecasts, collection
  • Resolve any contract or project issues
  • Ensure proper documentation for all extras, including approvals
  • Maintain positive client relationships
  • Foster safe work practices and procedures on job sites
  • Maximize profitability on assigned projects


As the successful candidate, you are a highly trusted, detail oriented individual who has the ability to work as a part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment with the following qualifications:

  • University degree or College diploma in Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management
  • 2-10 years of experience in General Contracting / Mechanical Construction
  • Excellent time management, analytical, organizational, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of estimating, project management software and Microsoft Excel
  • Proven ability to manage a team, resolve conflicts, and foresee potential cost or schedule issues
  • Outstanding oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
