Job Description:
Sentara Corporate HR is currently recruiting for a full time Team Coordinator of Benefits to join the Benefits Resource team. A Bachelors degree is preferred. Required is 3 years of Employee Benefits , Human Resources - 5 years, Supervisory - 3 years

Responsible for providing the day-to-day supervision of the Benefits Tier 1 and Tier 2 Associates and Specialists for all benefits shared services activities. Establishes and maintains Benefits Shared Services policies, procedures, and processes in order to optimize customer service, efficiency, and effectiveness. Solicits feedback from Benefits Shared Services team members to make continuous improvements. Provides people leadership for the Benefits Shared Services team, including recruitment, selection and staffing decisions, identifying development needs and ensuring appropriate training and coaching are provided. Works with Tier 2 Benefits Specialists to resolve most complex benefits cases as needed.
