Management and Program Analyst
The Office of Housing provides vital public services through its nationally administered programs. It oversees the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), the largest mortgage insurer in the world, and regulates important parts of the housing industry. The Office of Housing also helps ensure consumers can access housing counseling and provides affordable rental housing through its Multifamily housing program. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience or for this position includes:
-Preparing reports and briefs supervisors, management and staff on a variety of Employee and Labor Relations issues and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) issues related to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended (Public Law 92-261); Executive Order 11478, as amended; the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, as amended; and 29 CFR 1614.
-Advising management on sensitive EEO Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) matters.
-Recommending solutions to problems and conflicting issues impacting EEO, including complaints of discrimination.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Public Trust - Background Investigation
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
-Serve as advisor to senior management within the Office of Housing on critical, sensitive or confidential matters as they pertain to the equal employment opportunity program, employee and labor relations program, and other assigned special projects and programs.
-Analyze new or proposed legislation, regulations or other authoritative guidance to determine impact on program operations and develop implementation plans as necessary.
-Conduct comprehensive studies on the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and operations and recommend changes or improvements.
