Government Relations Specialist
Well established Washington, DC law firm is seeking a Government Relations Specialist to provide support within their government practice group with a variety of tasks which will include: manage correspondences (electronic and paper), coordinate schedules and political fundraisers, manage meetings, client events, and maintaining billing records and an extensive filing system. Candidate will also be responsible for preparing and editing documents, conduct legislative research, and assist with client activities and inquiries.
A college degree is required with a minimum of two years of Capitol Hill or other experience as a scheduler or personal assistant to Congressional staff members. Candidate should have strong time management and analytical skills, ability to work independently, and provide excellent customer service. MS Office proficiency is required. Candidate may be required to work a flexible schedule and be available for OT.
