Job Description: Business System Analyst -Momentum Functional Lead- USMS Help Desk Position Description Provide Momentum functional support to United States Marshals Service FSD Help Desk Team. Your future duties and responsibilities Business System Analyst - (Functional Task Coordinator (Functional Lead) The Functional Lead assigns functional tasks to members of the Tier 1 Help Desk Team; functional tasks may involve activities beyond the immediate scope of help desk tickets (eg, development of training materials, FAQs, report designs, SQL queries, etc.). The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:Providing functional expertise to facilitate completion of functional tasksManaging configuration control and requirements processesProviding ticket resolution support through liaison with Momentum Service Line components of Delivery Support and Momentum Client Release TeamForming and directing rapid response teams to handle urgent and/or wide scale problemsReviewing and performing advanced root-cause analysis and documenting findingsCollaborating with Tier 1 Coordinator and making recommendations for further follow-up to address underlying problem areasAnswering and resolving Help Desk calls and incidents as assigned by the Tier I Coordinator or those self-assignedReviewing incidents and/or requests that cannot be resolved upon initial user contact to determine appropriate assignment (specific Help Desk Analyst or Tier 2/Tier 3 support)Monitoring tickets to ensure response/resolution goals are metForm and direct rapid response teams to handle urgent and/or wide scale problemsPerforming advanced root-cause analysis and documenting findingsCollaborating with PM making recommendations for further follow-up to address underlying problem areasDevelop, Maintain, Status Project work plan with PM and senior USMS Financial Service Division managers Providing functional expertise to facilitate completion of functional tasks (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Acquisition Management, Project Accounting etc.) Required qualifications to be successful in this role Knowledge of Momentum ERP. Knowledge of SDLC and financial management core line of business FSIO areas and SQL Developer a plus; Ability to communicate face to face or by phone with client and develop and provide written deliverables as well.
