Job Description: Java Architect Position Description This is a large scale enterprise product involving strategic development of multi cloud asset provision, managing and optimization platform supporting multiple cloud service providers. The platform integrates numerous amount of third party tools to manage the security, financials and upkeep of the machines with rich analytics and DevOps integration. The candidate is expected to make significant impact to the product enhancements and future direction. Your future duties and responsibilitiesWork directly with Key Program Stakeholders to define architecture solutions that meet strategic business goals and requirementsAnalyze business requirements to design, architect, develop and implement highly efficient, highly maintainable and scalable system solutions that meets defined standardsDrive design and solution architecture sessions with developers and business stakeholdersEnsure designs meet application SLAs and developed software adhere to the designProvide Technical Leadership and prepare comprehensive architecture diagram documentation as defined by the SDLC and ensure timely completion of assigned workCollaborate with Release Management and Quality Assurance team to on board / migrate to the new architectureDrive POCs and provide concise choices of tools and technologiesDefine reusable software components and servicesMentor team members and comprehensive code reviewsParticipate in Epic planning and effort estimations Required qualifications to be successful in this role10+ years' experience in Java / J2EE and related technologies with strong architecture backgroundProven ability to architect large scale web projectsExperience with Distributed architecture, Microservices, Data Management, Dashboards and AnalyticsExperience with one or more Restful frameworks like Dropwizard, Jersey, Play frameworkExcellent communication skills and ability to bring thought leadershipAbility to articulate the design choices and bring acceptanceStrong experience with Cloud technologies and service providersDue to the nature of government contracts, this position requires a Green Card or US Citizenship.Desired Qualifications:Understanding of multiple cloud service provider stacks (AWS, Azure, VM Ware, Google)Experience with AngularJS, NodeJS and/or JavaScriptUnderstanding of DevOps process and toolingWorking knowledge of Agile development projects Build your career with us.
