Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY The Relationship Banker II will provide quality and efficiency to customers who prefer face-to-face interaction with the bank. This position will have a thorough understanding of the customerA cents € (TM) s financial needs and be able to effectively communicate appropriate products and services matching the customer needs. Support all daily operations of the branch, including timely and efficient completions of client transactions, while maintaining accurate records and thorough proper handling of all monies assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature (ie, new accounts, interviewing clients, consumer lending, suggesting appropriate products where judgment is required in resolving branch problems and making routine recommendations. Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.Accepts and accurately processes all financial transactions.Maintains responsibility for cash drawer and follows proper balancing procedures.Provides excellent customer service by providing answers and assistance for customersA cents € (TM) questions and concerns.Reviews and maintains knowledge of products, fees and policies and stays current on offerings for product suggestions.Opens and processes moderate to complex products such as consumer and business checking, consumer loans, Credit Cards and other solutions that meet the customersA cents € (TM) financial needs profile.Cross-sells other bank services and refers customers to other departments; Treasury Management, Merchant Services, SBA, Small Business Banking etc., as appropriate.Originates and processes all types of consumer loans.Comply with all Federal, State, and local consumer protection laws governing loan origination including the SAFE Act and SAFE Act registration and renewal rules as defined by the bank, if applicable.Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual required compliance training.May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and facilitate courses as subject matter expert.Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Howard Bank A cents € oeHands OnA cents € ApproachTakes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulateMay perform other duties as assigned.Desired Skills, Competencies and Education:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or abilities required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.Minimum of 3-4 years banking experience, knowledge and training in bank product sales and branch operations.Knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations.Highly motivated - sales and service driven.Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.Effective problem solving and decision making abilities.Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.Team player with an energetic positive attitude.Excellent organization and time management skills.High School Diploma or equivalent, Some college preferred.PC proficient; Competent with Microsoft Office - Windows, Word and Excel.Company DescriptionHoward Bank will make a difference.
