Job Description: Senior Windows Systems Administrator Position Description CGI FEDERAL is looking for a Senior Windows System Administrator with a strong security background to provide subject matter expertise and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support to a government agency's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) infrastructure. The individual will provide a full range of support services required to effectively operate, maintain, and perform software and system fixes for the applications, operating systems, and other elements under the purview of the organization. Duties will include, but are not limited to: troubleshooting; integrating; installation; configuring; upgrading; operating and maintaining; documenting; and system administration. Your future duties and responsibilities Primary responsibilities include: -Installation, support, configuration, and integration of software applications/databases that run on Windows systems primarily for security and automation purposes. -Develop and maintain repeatable processes documents that govern the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of system applications. -Develop and communicate vision for system improvements then realize vision through planning, leadership, and execution. -Work directly with the ISSE to ensure that the systems and applications are ICD 503 compliant. -Contribute to writing C&A documents to include the System Security Plans. -Work with auditors to demonstrate compliance. -Make INFOSEC an integral part of the systems engineering process by implementing and engaging team members in ensuring security requirements are implemented. -Track IAVA compliance and write/track POA&Ms when necessary. Required qualifications to be successful in this role Required Qualifications: -US Citizen with current, active Top Secret/SCI clearance. CI poly preferred, but must be obtainable. -Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering or related discipline as described in the Primary Responsibilities section above and 7+ years of related experience. -4+ years experience with Systems Security. -7+ years experience with Windows Administration -Knowledge and experience in Windows and UNIX scripting, automation, and architecture. -Experience with Windows clustering. -Provide support in the installation, configuration, and administration of Windows Enterprise Systems. -Customize roles and permissions to create different levels of access to server functions within group policies. -Recommend technical improvements consistent with customer's architecture -Understanding of configuration management practices. -Ability to mentor junior members of the team. -Technical writing skills sufficient to write Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for use by support staff. -Ability to run and evaluate output from security analysis tools. Desired Qualifications: -Experience troubleshooting hardware failures and systems incompatibilities. -Familiarity with PowerShell script development to support task automation. -Experience with enterprise antivirus and host based firewall products -Perform trend analysis on system performance, recommend configuration changes, and participate in planning activities to schedule system upgrades. -Ability to work within a team environment with a solid work ethic. -Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph desired. -Familiarity with Kerberos or Veritas Backup Exec desired. -Knowledge and experience with Active Directory, SAP, and/or Amazon Web Services highly desirable. -Strong written and oral communications skills. -Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems. -Initiative to quickly learn and put new skills to use. -Ability and initiative to set goals and execute. Education and Experience: -Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, master's degree preferred, and seven to nine years of related experience. At CGI, we're a team of builders.
