Senior Asset Management Administrator
Job DescriptionTitle: Asset Management Administrator IType: Full TimeLocation: Vienna, VAPosition Summary: The Asset Management Administrator is responsible for assisting in the management of a portfolio of residential and commercial tax lien foreclosures focusing on the performance of the administrative functions of the asset management group including, but not limited to, the subsequent tax purchases, the preparation and distribution of asset management reports, invoice payment processing, legal status updates to the system, processing payment plans, correspondence, bankruptcy and special projects.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Review and perform administrative requests from the asset management group, assessing the priority, and ensuring timely, accurate completion of the assigned task.Monitor, track and report on the progress of assigned tasksWork with accounting to reconcile, track and ensure payment of monthly invoices from various vendors.Data input of recoverable and non-recoverable fees into internal servicing systems.Coordinate with asset managers for the receipt, review and logging of attorney monthly foreclosure status reports.Set up, monitor, and track payment plans and report to asset managers.Monitor and track bankruptcies, prepare timely proofs of claim, follow up on missing payments, and contact attorneys/trustees for updates.Scanning, filing and routing various legal documents between asset managers and associated law firms.Manage coordination of post-acquisition activities to include coordinating legal foreclosure proceedings and/or county-level statutory compliance.Print, organize and prepare for asset manager review affidavit of merits and facts regarding foreclosure cases.Monitor virtual mailbox, assist asset management with correspondence issues and work with Correspondence Admin to resolve misfiled documents.Assist with subsequent tax purchases including, but not limited to, prepare affidavits, request tax amounts and other information from jurisdictions, enter purchase/receipt information in internal systems, and prepare FedEx packages.Maintain and update administrative policies and procedures as necessary.Interact, coordinate and communicate with other areas of the company and senior management, as required.Request and log up to date legal fees and expenses from attorneys for payoff quote requestsProcess Charge off Requests for NYC Asset ManagersAssess and draw up Payment Plans for NYCLog and catalog returned payment plansRequest and enter final bills from attorneysDraw up and send out Proof of Claims forms for Bankruptcy filings.Log and save Title Searches and Summons and Complaints from attorneysOther duties as assigned. Required Education, Knowledge and Skills:Associates or equivalent.
