Job DescriptionEnCompass is seeking an IT Coordinator to work full-time to support computer operations for EnCompass staff and consultants located in the Rockville and Crystal City offices and working virtually around the globe. Duties include user and desktop support (hardware and software), helpdesk, and data management to ensure smooth delivery of technology services.Position Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential functions include:Installing and configuring computer systemsDiagnosing hardware/software faultsSolving technical problems, and providing technical support to staff on hardware and software related requirements either by phone or in personResearching and responding to IT related questions; troubleshooting problems; maintaining workstations and LAN performanceMaintaining computer and video equipment in the conference rooms, copiers, and phones; providing technical support to users when problems ariseCommunicating with IT vendors (ie, Dell, COS, etc.) to troubleshoot and resolve any technical problemsPosition RequirementsBachelorA cents € (TM) s degree in IT or a related field requiredMinimum of 2 years of technical experienceIT related certification is a plusTop tier customer service skills and a commitment to the quality of the customer's experienceThe ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected eventsStrong attention to detailMust be a quick learner, self-starter, responsible, organized, a creative thinker, and be able to work individually and as part of a teamMust be able to lift a minimum of 10 poundsMust be able to travel around the Washington, DC metro area * The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
