Job DescriptionThe dental/surgical assistant receives clinical direction from the surgeon; assists in surgery, and treatment of patients. She/he must support established office policies and OSHA/Infection control compliance, as well as HIPAA compliance. She/he will assist in maintaining operating rooms, inventory of all supplies, instruments and equipment. She/He must have an upbeat personality, an ability to engage in professional and social conversation with patients, a willingness to help their team and contribute to the overall office. Must be energetic, pleasant and a Team Player.Minimum Requirements:Certified Dental or Surgical AssistantCertification in Basic Life SupportExperience using dental software. Current knowledge of EagleSoft software is a plus.Understanding of OSHA standardsCPR certified is a plusDigital x-ray experience preferredComputer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office programs.Ability to provide quality customer service.Eagerness to work and learnExcellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills.Must maintain a professional appearance, demeanor and an outgoing personality at all times.Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standardRecent Grads welcome. Some travel is required. Pay starting at $15-22/hour. Please be advised that our office hours are from 7:30am-5pm Mon-Fri.
