Job Description: Unix Systems Administrator Position Description CGI Federal is actively seeking a Unix Systems Administrator to provide support to a newly awarded program supporting the Defense Media Activity. This position requires expert knowledge of Solaris 10 and later, Red Hat, Linux and Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and later. This program is responsible for the direct line of communication for news and information to US Forces worldwide. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and CompetenciesDemonstrated skill in troubleshooting and resolution of difficult problems is requiredUnderstanding of the DIACAP process, and the NIST Risk Management Framework, along with knowledge of the DISA ACAS is requiredProvides Blackberry user and server supportEnforce ongoing DISA and JTG-GNO security policy on all servers and workstationsTroubleshoots and resolves server problemsRecommends system enhancements, tests, and implements approved solutionsAdminister and support PKI/PKE, HBSS, ACAS, SCCM, CAC, and SAN environmentsPerforms network backups and manages tape libraryProvides Active Directory and Exchange Server support to the sub-organization sites Additional RequirementsKnowledge of the operation and maintenance of UNIX SystemsDemonstrated knowledge of and ability with Microsoft Visio is highly desiredAdvanced knowledge of Information Assurance requirements is required Certifications and Clearance Requirements IAT Level II Requirement Any of the following: Security+, SSCP, CCNA, GSEC Secret Security Clearance Your future duties and responsibilities Required qualifications to be successful in this role At CGI, we're a team of builders.
