Job DescriptionPersonal Lines Account ManagerLocation: Chantilly, VAQuest Insurance is seeking an exceptional Insurance professional with proven experience to become part of a dynamic team in a fast growing independent insurance agency. The candidate should have proven discipline, drive, commitment and specialize in Employee Benefits customer service.RESPONSIBILITES:Act as first line of response for all inquiries from clients, prospects and carriersHandle day-to-day servicing of new business and renewal accountsMaintain agency management system; set up new prospects, maintain existing account files, E-file quotes Craft marketing campaigns for client development and retentionIssue Certificates of InsuranceCoordinate processing and payment of claims between insured and insurance companiesPrepare completed policies and endorsements for delivery or mailingObtain underwriting information to quote/rate risks for new and renewal business and submit completed applicationsPerform due diligence when shopping coverage and rates for prospects and existing client renewals, including coverage complianceIdentify cross-selling opportunities with existing customers for product lines not carried by agencyProvide proactive risk management advice to existing clients resolving client issues before they become "problems"Perform other functions or tasks as directed by managementQUALIFICATIONS:Education and ExperienceBS, BA or comparable combination of education and experienceThree (3) yearsA cents € (TM) experience in Personal Lines insurance supporting sales and working with vendorsBackground in a service orientated environmentComprehensive working knowledge of commercial lines products, services and value propositionsMust either have a license in, or the willingness to obtain one within (60) days of date of hireKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesThorough and complete understanding of insurance products and industriesHighly motivated, works well with minimal guidanceMust have the ability to multi-task while still being detailed oriented in a fast paced and dynamic environmentHave experience in relationship building with clients and businessesExcellent organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal (written, verbal and oral) skills is essentialAble to maintain confidential data and meet deadlinesMust be able to work with a client-centric and decisive manner under tight deadlinesDemonstrate proficiency with Excel; moderate proficiency with other MS Office productsThis position offers a competitive compensation package in a stable and appealing work environment.
