RESEARCH ENGINEER - PRINCIPAL ENGINEER - ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS - WASHINGTON, DC Job code: 14-00887 Email a friend Printer friendly Job Summary: Provide customer technical support in design and development of electronic systems incorporating various established and state-of-the-art technologies such as embedded microprocessors, high speed digital signal processing systems, wideband RF communications systems and fiber optic systems. Work will include, but not limited to, assistance with definition of system requirements, analysis of available technologies, testing and documentation. Provide innovative solutions using state-of-the-art technologies. Provide engineering solutions in the development and design for electronic systems using analog, digital, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA), programmable logic and embedded microprocessors. Education/Experience: Requires a BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 7 years related experience and at least a 3.0 GPA. Must have C# and Python programming language experience. Network protocols including TCP, UDP, DNS, TLS required. Excellent verbal and written skills is a must. Will work with customer on-site. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
