Job Description: Senior Voice Network Engineer Position Description Position Summary: CGI Federal is looking for a Senior Voice Network Engineer to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client in the Washington, DC area. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, detail oriented, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Principle Duties & Responsibilities:Manage a team of Voice/Data Communications EngineersArchitect, design and optimize Avaya/Avaya Communications Service (ACU) and Cisco Unified Communications products including Cisco Call Manager, VoIP.Configure, maintain and troubleshoot encryption devices, PSTN, DSN, ISDN, etc.Develop and implement the technical architecture and physical design of the networkTroubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to complex hardware/software problemsPerform analysis and diagnosis of complex voice and data network issues Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Minimum of 8 years of experience with communication and voice solutions.Full lifecycle experience with Avaya and Cisco Unified Communications solutions.Configure, maintain and troubleshoot encryption devices, PSTN, DSN, ISDN, etc.Experience integrating multi-platform Unified Communications to include Exchange, LYNC, Blackberry, Apple IPad, SMEPED, Mobile Devices, IPhone, other IOS devices and vendors.Experience designing networks to align with current DoD Information Assurance (IA) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) standardsDoD IAT Level II Certification is required (Security+ce, SSCP, CCNA-Security, etc.) Additional Requirements:Ability to successfully complete the CGI Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.Possession of an ACTIVE SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Two years of supporting COMSEC equipment (STE/STU)Knowledge of MS Visio Your future duties and responsibilities Required qualifications to be successful in this role At CGI, we're a team of builders.
