LCG, Inc., a fast-growing IT government contractor, is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist who has the experience as a stand-alone HR practitioner supporting at least 150 employees in a government contracting technical work environment. S/he will be primarily responsible for, recruitment and retention, benefits, regulatory compliance and reporting, performance management and "ownership" of the HRIS. Ideal candidate will have in depth experience and strong understanding of benefits management, the Affordable Care Act, and the Service Contract Act. Candidate will support corporate culture of "Pay-for-Performance," maintain personnel records, promote and support company policies, and be accountable for federal, state, and local compliance. This position does not currently have supervisory duties. MUST be willing to travel to and work between Rockville, MD and Rosslyn, VA offices. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee HR policies and objectives to establish a positive employer-employee relationship. Promote a high level of employee morale and motivation in all functional work areas to meet the current and changing Company plans and goals. Maintain knowledge of benefit trends, benchmarks and employment legislation and ensures company's compliance. Maintain responsibility for company compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to all personnel matters. Administrator for the Workers Compensation and OSHA reporting program. Act as Point-of-Contact to benefit providers, leverage broker relationships in ensuring superior customer service to employees, and coordinate open enrollments. Develop, review, and/or edit job descriptions to ensure compliance with FLSA Overtime rule and to ensure all position duties are appropriately and accurately defined. Prepare and submit government reports related to EEO, OFCCP, and AAP compliance and other HR related functions. Maintain integrity of data in HR system and personnel records, and conduct routine audits of systems and records to maintain regulatory compliance and best practice. Coordinate community outreach activities and events planning. Oversee and monitor onboarding and off-boarding programs. Evaluate and administer performance management system - coach managers and users on how to complete fair and effective performance evaluations. Accountable for workforce planning efforts to include recruitment, retention, and data analysis reporting to management. Manage immigration proceedings by serving as liaison with the company's attorney, USCIS and DOL. Work with vendor to ensure new hire, on-boarding and discharge data is submitted accurately and timely. Assist with all other tasks and initiatives as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: At least 3 - 5 years' experience as a Human Resources Generalist, of which at least 2 years' experience is in a federal contractor company. Experience with the one of more of the following systems: Deltek Cost Point 7.0, and Kenexa.and Oracle - Taleo, Broad knowledge and focal experience in talent acquisition and retention, and employee relations. Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
