Outbound Sales Associate, Partner Solutions Washington, DC Job Title: Outbound Sales Associate, Partner Solutions Department: Partner Solutions Location: Washington, DC Reports to: Director, Partner Solutions FLSA Status: Exempt Requisition #: 17-0011 Date: July 13, 2017 SUMMARY: The Outbound Sales Associate is responsible for generating revenue by following up on leads to sell and upsell products and services through outbound calls and emails. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (includes, but not limited to): Follow up on warm leads from marketing campaigns via phone, internet, or email, with the goal of converting them to confirmed sales Sell, cross-sell, and up-sell to prospects and existing customers by providing information about Clements products and services Follow up with customers after initial sales contact to close the sale or request/deliver any missing information Respond to inquiries, explain product features and information to prospects and customers via phone or email Identify customer issues and provide appropriate insurance solutions Remain current on Clements products and services as well as the competitive landscape Maintain an accurate record of calls, emails, and sales Assist the department with other tasks as necessary MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience Minimum two (2) years of related insurance sales experience Ability to obtain Life & Health and Property & Casualty producer licenses within three (3) months Ability to meet annual sales goals Strong customer service and telesales skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and perform in a high-volume, fast paced environment Strong problem solving and decision making skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook TO APPLY Please send a resume to hr@clements.com; include "Outbound Sales Associate" in the subject line of the email.
