Global Tools and Storage is currently seeking candidates for a CATIA Best Practice Engineer based in Towson, MD.Engineer.Job Specifications:Generate CATIA Master Geometry Models and PowerCopiesSupport Engineering Teams in their application of re-usable CATIA assets - mentoring, CAD planning etcCreate, test and communicate new processes (in CATIA and adjacent software)Deliver selected training classes, potentially including Global site visits.Provide Daily assistance for CATIA usersEmployee Specifications:2yr or 4yr Degree in Engineering or CAD TechnologyStrong parametric 3D CAD skills, preferably CATIA V52 years + product development experience preferableSound knowledge of data re-use methodologiesExperience of PLM system usage - eg Windchill, Enovia, Smart Team, Team CenterGood Presentation skills - verbal, PowerPoint, video creation (eg Camtasia)Strong ability to mentor others - patient, works well with different personalitiesExperience of VB customization of CATIA would be a bonus EEO Statement All qualified applicants to Stanley Black & Decker will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, veteran's status, age, disability or any other characteristic protected by law
