To date, Hughes has shipped more than 4 million systems to customers in over 100 countries, representing approximately 50 percent market share.Hughes is looking for a Satellite Network Software Engineer to: Design, develop, and test embedded, real-time software for broadband satellite networks. Develop software, test programs and software utilities to configure, update, control and monitor hardware modules.Develop and maintain Linux device drivers and application software to manage data traffic in a satellite network.Analyze system requirements, write test plans and execute unit tests and system integration tests.Analyze and debug customer reported problems. Qualification/Skills (Know of the Job) Requirements:MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or closely related field, or BS plus 5 years' experience.Proficiency in C, C++, Multi-threaded programming and device driver development in Linux Operating System.Knowledge of TCP/IP, Python, Shell scripting, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSONEchoStar Corporation (NASDAQ: SATS) headquartered in Englewood, CO, with additional locations world-wide, is a premier global provider of satellite solutions and technology services.
