Job Description EnCompass is seeking an IT Coordinator to work full-time to support computer operations for EnCompass staff and consultants located in the Rockville and Crystal City offices and working virtually around the globe. Duties include user and desktop support (hardware and software), helpdesk, and data management to ensure smooth delivery of technology services. Position Duties and Responsibilities Essential functions include: Installing and configuring computer systems Diagnosing hardware/software faults Solving technical problems, and providing technical support to staff on hardware and software related requirements either by phone or in person Researching and responding to IT related questions; troubleshooting problems; maintaining workstations and LAN performance Maintaining computer and video equipment in the conference rooms, copiers, and phones; providing technical support to users when problems arise Communicating with IT vendors (ie, Dell, COS, etc.) to troubleshoot and resolve any technical problems Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field required Minimum of 2 years of technical experience IT related certification is a plus Top tier customer service skills and a commitment to the quality of the customer's experience The ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events Strong attention to detail Must be a quick learner, self-starter, responsible, organized, a creative thinker, and be able to work individually and as part of a team Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds Must be able to travel around the Washington, DC metro area * The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
