Senior System Engineer
Job Description: Company Name: Bit Systems Summary: The System Engineer will provide support across multiple phases of the systems engineering life cycle to include technical planning, requirement analysis, system design, scheduling, system integration, verification and validation, and training. Must be self-motivated individual who understands technical concepts, has good communication skills, and able to collaborate on technical topics with a larger team. Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide end-to-end systems engineering support across multiple development and test teams Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel Provide feedback to the developers relating to operational functionality concerns Provides administrative and technical support to Government-led change management forums (Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Engineering review board (ERB) Collaborates with Scrum Master/Product Owner, Project Manager, and Program Manager to establish and maintain schedules and identify/remove roadblocks Ability to track workload in order to keep multiple projects on-track Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Production Acceptance Tests (PAT), and software checkouts Experience with RF components and building antenna systems Ensures efficient delivery of engineering capabilities using best practices, industry standards and repeatable processes. Bring a Self-Starter, Highly Motivated Attitude Required Qualifications: Requires Bachelors degree or equivalent and 5-7 years of related experience Ability to assemble, test hardware and software, and trouble shoot if issues arise Desired Qualifications: Experience with hardware/RF/Electrical paths Experience working with customer requirements to develop new functionality Experience with SCRUM/Agile (Use cases, User Stories, Work Tasks, Atlassian JIRA, and Confluence.
