Human Resources Generalist

Your Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Handle general HR inquiries ensuring prompt and courteous resolution 2. Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation 3. Conduct new employee orientation sessions 4. Manage the on-boarding process for new hires in iCIMS and Costpoint 5. Responsible for benefits administration including enrolling new employees, making current employee changes and invoice reconciliations 6. Update database records and process paperwork for terminations and other status changes 7. Assist with overseeing the performance management system 8. Manage FMLA and other employee leave benefits 9. Assist with immigration visa filings 10. Reset employee timesheet passwords as needed 11. Assist the Human Resources Director with various research /special projects 12. Other HR duties as assigned Travel Minimal with some travel between our Chantilly, VA and Sterling, VA offices.
