Job Description Job Title: Business Analyst II Location : Washington, DC Security Clearance: none Job Type: Full-time Position Overview: Nationwide IT Services is seeking an experience Business Analyst II in support of our proposal effort for the FHFA (Federal Housing Finance Agency) SDLC. The Business Analyst II will review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies. The Business Analyst should have both business and technical expertise. Duties and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Conduct business analysis and identify business objectives and requirements. · Document system requirements, defines scope and objectives, and creates system specifications that drive system development and implementation. · Elicit, analyze and develop business/ functional requirements. · Refine, define requirements and communicate them clearly to stakeholders and application developers. · Translate and simplify requirements, review test cases, process change requests, and support management of a project's scope, acceptance, installation and deployment. · Prioritize requirements with the client and help create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups. · Verify and validate that the software solution satisfies the requirements. · Confirm the correctness of previously elicited requirements through testing. Education and Requirements: Required · Must be eligible to work in the US. · Bachelor's degree in a finance (Finance, Economics, Business Administration) or technology discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems) · 6+ years' experience in project management, change management analysis, data analysis, data visualization, data science, or data mining · 2 years of experience with SDLC · Ability to work independently and also collaborating closely with application developers, engineers and others. · Must be self-motivated and results oriented. · Effective written and oral communication skills.
